Flavia Cerrone Happy Feet Workshop Total Chi

THE HAPPY FEET WORKSHOP with FLAVIA CERRONE

MARCH 10TH - 18:00 to 20:00 - £40 (£32.50 MEMBERS)

Happy Feet!

Feet have 3 arches, 28 bones, 33 joints; the soles only consists of 4 distinct layers of muscles. They are a wondrous piece of engineering which we regularly ignore.

In this workshop we will look at the feet with renewed interest, wake up the layers of muscles through pada bandha (foot lock) and look at how we practise poses with renewed attention to our foundations: just like with buildings, a solid energised base allows the rest of the pose to flourish above. But it’s not just about the foundations, we will also look at how a good use of the feet enlivens poses even when they are in the air!
