A gentle hatha based class. Suitable from 14 weeks until birth. Each class includes yoga sequences specifically adapted for pregnancy and movements to alleviate discomforts and renew energy. Yoga helps you to adapt to your body’s changing needs as well as prepare your for the birth of your baby. You will learn relaxation skills, breathing techniques and movements that support you and your connection with your baby. Classes provide an informal environment in which to chat about any concerns you may have, as well as developing a supportive community of yogi mamas.You don't need to have any previous yoga experience to benefit - suitable for beginners.

At Total Chi we have several teachers who have been specifically trained to teach pre and post natal classes which is paramount to ensuring a safe practice. The printed version of our schedule has a (P) indicating which classes are suitable during pregnancy. You can download a copy here or alternatively pick one up when visiting the studio. Please note that you must stick to the marked classes as individual teachers will have classes that are both suitable and not suitable during pregnancy.

Prior to taking any classes whilst pregnant we do ask that you seek approval by your doctor and not to take part in any classes until you have had your 12-14 week check up.
